Community involvement is paramount.
DECSA’s team is highly committed to promoting the health of the Edmonton community. This would simply not be possible without the support of the community, volunteers and the assistance of the employers who rely on us to find employees who will get the job done.
We are located in a quiet community, only 1 block from the nearest bus stop. We have ample free parking and are a fully accessible facility. Being part of a community is important to us; in the Bellevue community we take care of each other. DECSA participates in the City of Edmonton Adopt-a-Block, our neighbours water our flowers when they tend to their own, and the local firefighters come to flip pancakes at our Annual Community Pancake Breakfast.
Our door is always open.
We are happy to share our resources and space with you. Visit our Community Hub for walk-in services and resources for anyone seeking employment, education or entrepreneurship. If you’re looking to rent meeting space, a computer lab, or one of our business incubators, DECSA has a number of options that are well maintained and accessible. Our parking lot is available for special events through Parking Panda, proceeds going towards our programs and services.
Our Community Relations department promotes and attends events in the community and fosters relationships with other non profit organizations, governments, business and post-secondary institutions. DECSA shares programming information and gets the most up-to-date information and resources to support clients and job seekers. We attend job fairs and develop ongoing employer connections.
Keep an eye out for us at events, and make sure you say hello – we love meeting new people!
If you would like to invite us to an event, please send us an email at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
